Job summary

Team One in Los Angeles is seeking a Junior Digital Art Director to partner with a multidisciplinary team to pioneer interactive brand experiences, digital products, and activations. You’ll blend strong visual design with AI workflows to prototype, iterate, and translate complex ideas into real-world experiences.

The ideal candidate brings 1–3 years’ digital design experience, hands-on AI tooling, and a portfolio of AI-assisted prototypes and activations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience creating digital products, interactive prototypes, and mobile-first experiences with a strong visual foundation.
• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to generate visual concepts, speed up workflows, and build functional prototypes.
• Experience concepting, designing, and physically bringing real-life activations and experiential environments to execution.
• Strong portfolio showcasing AI-assisted workflows, interactive prototypes, mobile-first product design, and physical or hybrid brand activations.

Responsibilities

• Lead rapid prototyping initiatives using AI generation tools to visualize concepts, test interactions, and ship interactive digital products.
• Concept, design, and execute immersive real-life activations, experiential brand installations, and physical-meets-digital touchpoints.
• Integrate generative AI tools into daily creative workflows to accelerate idea generation, art direction, asset creation, and rapid functional experience building.
• Collaborate with Art Directors, Experience Designers, Developers, and cross-functional teams to bring high-impact digital and physical experiences from brief to life.
• Build interactive prototypes to demonstrate product mechanics, user flows, and experimental interfaces to clients and internal leadership.
• Drive concept development, strategic ideation, and interactive storytelling across digital products and physical spaces.
• Design compelling, user-centered digital products that balance creative ambition, technological innovation, and business goals.
• Help build and scale modular design systems and component libraries tailored for rapid digital and physical experience design.
• Continually explore, test, and adopt emerging AI tools, creative tech software, and prototyping frameworks that shape the future of brand experiences.
• Present creative ideas, interactive prototypes, and design rationale clearly and confidently to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
