Job summary
Immigrant Invest is seeking a Junior AI Automation Engineer to join our team and support 60+ production workflows powering customer operations, AI agents, and internal processes. You’ll build and maintain automations, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate on AI-powered solutions.
Ideal candidates bring hands-on automation experience, Python proficiency, strong debugging skills, and knowledge of n8n/Make/Zapier.
Qualifications
- 1+ year hands-on experience building and maintaining production automations.
- Experience with automation platforms: n8n, Make and Zapier.
- Experience supporting automation after deployment, not just building them.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, HTTP requests and JSON.
- Experience with Python for code review and edits.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot production automation workflows.
- Investigate alerts, identify root causes, and resolve issues.
- Configure monitoring, retries, and error handling.
- Produce weekly system health reports and improve reliability.
- Support internal teams when automation incidents occur.
- Maintain and improve existing AI-powered automation systems.
- Build and improve workflows using Make, n8n and other platforms.
- Implement automation patterns across systems.
- Develop AI-powered document generation and multilingual processing.
- Improve resilience with retries and better error handling.
- Clean up legacy workflows and technical debt.
- Build small internal automation projects as ownership grows.
