Job summary

First American is seeking a Junior Agency Sales Representative in West Virginia to learn the sales process, gain product knowledge, and develop client relationships while traveling throughout the state.

You will support sales activities, participate in training, and be prepared for promotion to a Sales Representative as you build skills in communication, market research, and presentation delivery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in sales or customer service.
• Requires a valid driver’s license.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Presentation skills; ability to influence others.
• Enthusiastic, optimistic, persistent and resilient personality; able to handle rejection.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Solid work ethic; proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Learn and master the sales process and understand the products and services offered.
• Learn sales administration by participating in sales office functions
• Build and maintain relationships with potential clients
• Conduct market research and develop sales strategies; gather and analyze information to build knowledge base and identify trends for assigned territory/product
• Observe the sales process by calling on accounts; adhere to established sales steps
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational improvement opportunities; read sales and marketing publications
• Prepare and deliver product presentations
• Other duties as assigned
