Job summary

Noise Control Engineering, LLC (NCE) is seeking an Entry-Level Acoustic Engineer to join our landside acoustic consulting team in Billerica, MA. You will diagnose noise and vibration challenges, apply architectural acoustics concepts, and grow with a collaborative, small-business environment.

You will contribute to modeling, field testing, data analysis, and technical reporting while developing client communication skills under mentorship.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of acoustic analysis and noise-control principles.
• Familiarity with acoustic modeling tools such as Cadna, SoundPlan, and Odeon desired.
• Experience with sound level meters and data processing using Matlab or Python.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers to understand client needs and apply analysis and testing methods to acoustic challenges.
• Contribute to modeling, field testing, data analysis, reports, and project coordination.
