Job summary

Typhoon HIL, Inc. in Waltham, MA is seeking a Junior Accountant to join the US Operations team on-site. The role covers day‑to‑day accounting in BC365, bank reconciliations, intercompany records, and supporting month‑end close and reporting.

Recent graduates with a solid accounting foundation are welcome. You will work closely with the US Operations Manager and broader finance team, gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, multinational tech environment and contributing to office operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance, or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
• Strong academic record — GPA of 3.5 or above (preferred).
• Solid understanding of US GAAP fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process and post accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in BC365.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations (USD and FX accounts).
• Maintain accurate records of intercompany transactions.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and accruals.
• Prepare and process outgoing payments and manage daily banking activity.
• Support preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
• Assist with sales tax filings and compliance; liaise with external advisors.
• Help prepare and maintain documentation for internal controls and Finance procedures.
• Support broader US office operations as needed, including order administration, shipping and logistics documentation.
