Job summary

N/A is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its US-based team. You will assist with general accounting duties, maintain financial records, reconcile accounts, and support tax preparation.

This contract role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, 1+ year experience, strong Excel skills and familiarity with QuickBooks. Attention to detail and ability to work both independently and with a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• At least 1 year of experience in accounting or finance (internship experience will be considered)
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations
• Assist with tax preparation and filing
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
• Assist with month-end close procedures
• Prepare financial reports for management review
• Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks accurately and timely
