Awin is a global affiliate network connecting customers with brands in over 180 countries. We are expanding our finance structure in the US and seeking a Junior Accountant to join the team, report to the Senior Accountant, and collaborate with colleagues worldwide to deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer questions on invoice payment status, copies of invoices, and statements of account.
• Understand bank reconciliations.
• Research unidentified cash receipts and coordinate with Account Managers and Customers to ensure timely identification and application to invoices.
• Assist with accounts receivable reconciliations aligning subledgers with general ledgers.
• Assist with customer account closures by processing refunds.
• Complete invoice clearing process and collaborate with Publisher Payments to pay publishers.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Assist in month-end close reporting with journal entries and reconciliations for Accounts Receivable.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and procedures.
• Handle ad hoc projects as requested.
