TANG & COMPANY is seeking an Accountant I to join our growing Finance team in Torrance, CA. The role focuses on owning the month-end close, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting accounts payable and receivable functions.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, excel at analyzing large data sets, and collaborate across departments to improve processes and efficiencies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• Minimum of two years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and month-end close.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, lookups, PivotTables) required.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute month-end close activities with timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and reconcile GL accounts; journal entries and accruals.
• Perform complex bank reconciliations and resolve items.
• Analyze data and support audits and annual reviews.
• Assist AP/AR and cross-functional process improvements.
• Support ERP data uploads and data transformation between systems.
