Whitestone Associates, Inc. is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join the Finance team for a hands-on, in-office role.

This position offers an excellent entry point for recent graduates aiming to build a strong foundation in accounting and finance within a collaborative, employee-owned firm. The responsibilities include handling high volumes of vendor invoices and payments, vendor setup, expense reviews, and AP reconciliations, with opportunities to grow within the organization.

Formación

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Recent graduates and early-career candidates encouraged to apply.
• Previous accounting internship or related experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience in the AEC industry or related professional services is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices with accurate coding and routing for approval.
• Process vendor payments according to established schedules.
• Manage vendor setup and documentation (COI, W-9s, subcontractor agreements).
• Review and process employee expense reports and company credit card statements.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements; resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with staff and vendors to resolve invoice and payment issues.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist Finance with additional accounting activities and projects.
