Whitestone Associates, Inc. is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our in-office Finance team in New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career accounting professional to build a strong foundation in accounting and finance.

Responsibilities include processing vendor invoices, payments, vendor setup, reviewing expense reports, reconciling payables, and assisting with accounting projects. Strong attention to detail and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Recent graduates and candidates beginning their accounting careers are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or related internship is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook; strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsabilités

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring invoices are accurately coded, entered, and routed for approval.
• Process vendor payments accurately and in accordance with established payment schedules.
• Manage vendor setup and maintenance, including documentation such as Certificates of Insurance and W-9s.
• Review and process employee expense reports and company credit card statements with proper documentation.
