H Mart Holdings in Carlstadt, NJ seeks a Treasury Assistant to support financial reporting, tax filing, and cash management. The role involves daily transaction recording, bank reconciliations, and coordination with Accounting I for error resolution.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting (or related) and 1–3 years of experience, with proficiency in Excel and bilingual English/Korean preferred. On-site work schedule aligns with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Basic accounting knowledge and Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support preparing financial statements and AR/AP reporting to Manager weekly.
• Assist closing processes: monthly transactions, checklists, daily recording of expenses and refunds.
• Manage treasury tasks: Check & ACH Positive Pay, daily bank reconciliations, cash flow reports, deposits, cash on hand, and credit card payments.
• Record all payments in B1 and support bank reconciliations; handle import documents (L/C, D/P).
• Assist with sales and use tax filing and payments; prepare and review tax reports.
