Essential Functions
  • Payroll – using the Kronos and PeopleSoft systems - review and signoff payroll for Union and Nonunion associates. This includes tracking and monitoring paid time off (sick, vacation, personal) days. This function is performed weekly on Mondays (Tuesdays during some holiday weeks).
  • Creates deductions against the vendors for fines paid to the store owners for weights and measures violations. Maintains the schedule for these charges and deduction to ensure all money due has been collected.
  • Print, review, and process Warehouse Debits a weekly basis.
  • Creates deductions against the vendors for expired Billback contracts. Involves preparing backup and confirming dollars prior to generating deductions.
  • Assists the Semi-Senior accountants by generating deductions against vendors to collect monies due for miscellaneous sales promotions and new store openings.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with a concentration in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance.
  • Strong time management, multi-tasking and organization skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent technical and personal computer skills, including Excel.
  • Familiarity with Kronos/PeopleSoft, Oracle and RAPID.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 annually. Placement in the salary depends on several factors, including experience, skills, education, geography, and budget considerations.
