Job summary

Poms & Associates in Calabasas, CA seeks a Junior Account Manager to support Account Executives in handling small commercial accounts, strengthening client relations, and assisting with renewals, marketing, and new business documentation.

This full-time hybrid role offers a salary range of $61,000–$88,000 plus benefits (medical, dental, vision, FSA, 401(k), PTO). Travel to company headquarters may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Minimum four years of commercial insurance experience.
• Pursuit of a professional insurance designation encouraged.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages and account servicing.

Responsibilities

• Independently service an assigned book of small commercial accounts.
• Build and maintain client, carrier, and underwriter relationships.
• Support renewal planning, retention efforts, and account growth initiatives.
• Review policies, endorsements, and coverage recommendations for accuracy.
• Process agency-billed invoicing and related account transactions.
• Respond to client requests and provide proactive service.
• Assist clients with policy changes, endorsements, certificates, and coverage questions.
• Support larger accounts through marketing, submissions, and day-to-day servicing.
