Job summary

Noguchi & Associates, Inc., an Ori-gen Family Company, is seeking a friendly, organized junior professional to start a career in Employee Benefits in Honolulu. You will learn about benefits, renewals, and compliance while supporting Account Managers with day-to-day client service.

No license is required at hire; we will help you obtain Hawaii Life & Health Insurance License and cover licensing costs, with opportunities to grow in client relations and benefits administration.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in building a career in Employee Benefits.
• Customer service, administrative, or related experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Comfortable learning new technology and software.

Responsibilities

• Learn about employee benefits, renewals, compliance, and industry trends.
• Take Hawaii Life & Health Insurance classes and obtain license within 3 months.
• Support Account Managers with day-to-day client service.
• Assist with medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefit accounts.
• Help prepare renewal proposals, benefit comparisons, and client materials.
• Assist with client onboarding, open enrollment, and implementation activities.
• Help resolve eligibility, enrollment, billing, and service questions.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Develop strong client relationships through responsive and professional service.

Salary: Final compensation will be determined based on experience, licensing, technical expertise, book complexity, and overall qualifications. Additional bonuses eligible per client retention.
