Job summary

Peterson Farms Inc is seeking a Blender Technician for the 2nd shift at our Howey-in-the-Hills, FL facility. The role blends juice ingredients according to product specifications and GMPs.

You will operate pasteurizers, reflect material usage in the Warehouse Management System, and complete paperwork with accuracy. You will support QA with sampling, maintain clear communication across Production and QA, and ensure food safety and quality compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must attain forklift and pallet jack operator licenses within seven working days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Works in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Obtains raw ingredients and materials and uses WMS to reflect usage.
• Pumps and blends concentrate per QA-provided formulations.
• Operates pasteurizers to meet product specs and safety guidelines.
• Completes blend sheets and associated paperwork timely and accurately.
• Obtains tanker samples and delivers to QA for testing.
• Monitors tasks for food safety and quality; reports concerns to supervisor/QA.
• Maintains communication with Production, Planning, and QA during shifts.
• Washes and sanitizes silos, tanks, and lines using CIP methods.
• Performs quality checks and testing as directed by QA/management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
