Job summary

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend for virtually the entire shift; able to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more than 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

Operation and control of the pre-production room (blending area and elaboration tanks).
Recognize any material not meeting quality control standards and advise Quality Control or Management.
Keep mixing area and utensils clean and disinfected.
Collaborate with product recovery and reprocessing when needed.
Work under the standards fixed by the company (GFSI, ISO, GMPs).
Must wear required personal protection equipment for the department.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Plant Manager.
