The Third Judicial District Court in Las Cruces, New Mexico is seeking a Judicial Specialist Leadworker to join our full-time permanent staff. You will lead, mentor, and train others in judicial procedures, manage court documents, and work with the court case management system to ensure accurate filing, docketing, and closing of cases.

Responsibilities include providing high-volume customer service, coordinating jury functions, and handling cash transactions and bond/trust funds with strict

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with four years of court processing experience, three in court processing.
• Typing certification of at least 35 net WPM may be required and NM Workforce Solutions issuance must be recent.
• Ability to lead, mentor, train staff and work with the case management system.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor, and train staff in judicial procedures and court document processing.
• Utilize the case management system to open, docket, and close cases with accuracy.
• Provide high-volume customer service information to pro-se litigants without offering legal advice.
• Manage jury functions, schedules, and related court calendars.
• Ensure proper cash handling, receipts, and bond/trust fund processing.
• Coordinate with state agencies and the public; supervise subordinate staff when needed.
