Job summary

The Court of Common Pleas seeks a Law Clerk to assist Judge Andrew Serina with research, drafting opinions, and procedural orders. This position offers exposure to civil and criminal matters and requires a law degree and admission to the bar within six months.

Part-time also available. The clerk will attend court sessions, draft memoranda, and help interpret state rules while gaining courtroom experience in a respected Pennsylvania court.

• Bar admission within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform legal research and prepare draft legal documents for a Court of Common Pleas Judge.
• Attend court sessions; research, interpret, and analyze statutes and court precedent on specific issues before the court.
• Draft legal procedures, Orders, Opinions, and Memoranda for the assigned judge.
• Interpret and apply state and local rules of procedure.
• Give the Court input about findings of fact and legal decisions.
