Job summary

Tishman Speyer Properties seeks a judicial clerkship candidate to assist a Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas judge. You will review briefs, conduct focused legal research into precedents and statutes, and draft opinions, orders and related documents under supervision.

The position offers exposure to a broad docket, including civil and criminal matters, with courtroom observation and discussion with the judge. A JD from an ABA-accredited law school and Pennsylvania Bar admission are required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a law school accredited at matriculation or graduation.
• Must be a member of the Bar of Pennsylvania.

Job description

This is legal research work reviewing briefs and similar legal documents, determining pertinent issues, conducting research into statutes, precedents and other circumstances bearing on such issues, and drafting opinions, orders, adjudications and similar documents. The work is performed directly for and under the supervision of an assigned Judge serving on the Court of Common Pleas.
