Job summary

Rutherford County Schools seeks a JROTC Army Instructor. Candidates must have 8 years of cumulative honorable service with limited separation, or be a retired service member in appropriate ranks, and meet CCR 145-2 requirements. A Pre-Qualification Memorandum from U.S. Army Cadet Command and health/background checks are required.

Additional eligibility includes recommended letters from current commanders and adherence to AR and CCR guidelines. See attached job description for further details.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of cumulative honorable military service with no more than five years of separation or retirement time.
• CCR 145-2 certification requirements must be met for initial JROTC employment.
• Health and background checks must be satisfied.
• Pre-Qualification Memorandum from U.S. Army Cadet Command is required to apply for a JROTC Instructor position.
