Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking junior to mid-level Radar Signal Processing Engineer in Orem, UT with hybrid remote options.

You will design and validate DSP algorithms for detection, calibration, and interference mitigation, and develop real-time radar code in C++/CUDA for deployment on target hardware. Responsibilities include testing with real data, optimizing radar algorithms, and collaborating with hardware and software teams to meet system requirements.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 1-3+ years of Radar Signal Process Development and/or implementation experience.
• C++ programming experience within production environments preferred.
• Experience prototyping algorithms using Python and/or MATLAB.
• Solid DSP background with Fourier transforms, filters, linear algebra and estimation.
• Strong radar algorithm knowledge: Beamforming, STAP, Phased arrays, MIMO, CFAR.

Kforce has a client that is seeking junior to mid-level Radar Signal Processing Engineer in Orem, UT (Hybrid Remote). Overview: Our client is seeking a couple of Junior to Mid-Level Radar Signal Processing Engineer to develop advanced radar and digital signal processing algorithms for next-generation sensing systems. This role requires experience in DSP, radar algorithms. We are working directly with the hiring manager on this search assignment. This position is hybrid remote. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and validate DSP algorithms for detection, RF calibration, parameter estimation, and interference mitigation
• Develop and optimize radar algorithms for real-world applications
• Implement solutions in C++ and CUDA for deployment on target hardware
• Use real-world data to test, validate, and refine algorithm performance
• Collaborate with hardware and application teams to ensure radar system requirements are met

Requirements

• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
• 1-3+ years of Radar Signal Process Development and/or implementation experience. (Will consider candidates with a combination of academic and/or work experience)
• C++ programming experience within production environments is preferred
• Experience prototyping algorithms using Python and/or MATLAB would be ideal
• Solid background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and numerical analysis, including Fourier transforms, digital filters, optimization, linear algebra, and statistical estimation
• Solid working or academic knowledge of radar algorithms, including Beamforming; STAP (Space-Time Adaptive Processing); Phased arrays, MIMO, and CFAR

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FMCW radar systems
• CUDA/GPU acceleration experience
• Experience developing advanced radar algorithms for challenging operational environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
