Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot connectivity, hardware, and software issues for staff and field teams.
• Document issues, resolutions, and processes clearly in the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when needed.
• Maintain organized records of equipment, software licenses, and support history.
• Communicate clearly with non-technical staff during troubleshooting.
• Support other IT projects and tasks as assigned.

Jr. Technical Support Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE

Halco Home Solutions is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Jr. Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll provide first-line technical support for networking, computer, and phone systems under the direction of the Sr IT leader, keeping our internal teams connected and our support tickets moving. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career who wants hands-on experience and room to grow in a fast-paced, customer-focused company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up, configure, and maintain computers, phones, peripherals, and basic network equipment under the direction of the senior IT staff
• Respond to and resolve technical support tickets related to networking, computer hardware/software, and phone systems in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot and diagnose connectivity, hardware, and software issues for staff and field teams
• Set up, configure, and maintain computers, phones, and networking equipment
• Document issues, resolutions, and processes clearly and accurately in the ticketing system
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when needed
• Maintain organized records of equipment, software licenses, and support history
• Communicate clearly and patiently with non-technical staff throughout the troubleshooting process
• Support other IT projects and tasks as assigned

WHAT YOU BRING

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus
• Prior experience in a technical support, help desk, or IT support role
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar) are a plus

Hours

Monday – Friday

• Paid vacation, holiday, 7 sick days per year
• 401(k) available after 1yr of continuous employment with company match 100% up to 4%
