Optomi, in partnership with a leading organization, is seeking a Jr. Service Desk Analyst to provide hands-on technical support to internal employees in a fast-paced corporate environment.
This onsite role combines end-user support, hardware and software troubleshooting, device configuration, and workstation deployment. The right candidate will be enthusiastic, customer-focused, eager to learn, and excited to build their career in a corporate IT environment. They will serve as the primary onsite IT contact, helping employees resolve day-to-day technology issues while supporting PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and other peripherals.

Experience of the Right Candidate:
- 1–3 years of help desk, service desk, desktop support, or similar IT experience
- Strong customer service and end-user support skills
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Experience building, testing, configuring, or deploying PCs
- Working knowledge of Windows 11, macOS, and iOS
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 / Office 365
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn new applications, systems, and technologies
- Strong troubleshooting, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced corporate environment
Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:
- Provide onsite technical support to internal employees and visitors
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues
- Configure and support PCs, laptops, virtual machines, and mobile devices
- Build, test, and deploy workstations and software packages
- Install, update, and manage software using internal IT tools
- Respond to support requests through tickets, phone, chat, email, and in-person interactions
- Troubleshoot issues involving Windows 11, macOS, iOS, Microsoft 365, and common peripherals
- Document issues, resolutions, and user interactions accurately
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical teams when needed
- Stay current on supported technologies, applications, and IT procedures
- Provide a high level of customer service while managing multiple requests
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- CompTIA A+, Apple, Microsoft, or other relevant IT certifications
- Associate’s Degree in Information Systems or a related field
- Previous experience supporting a corporate or enterprise environment
- Experience with desktop management or software deployment tools
- Experience working independently in an onsite IT support environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. of equipment when needed
- Willingness to respond to occasional after-hours urgent support requests
