Responsibilities

  • Engineer and troubleshoot Windows and macOS endpoint environments using Jamf and SCCM.
  • Lead endpoint refreshes, migrations, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Coordinate offshore support team and external vendors for EUC initiatives.
  • Support AD, Microsoft 365, and hybrid infrastructure operations.
  • Identify automation opportunities and maintain up-to-date documentation.

Job description

Optomi, in partnership with one of our premier clients, is seeking an experienced Workplace Services Engineer to support enterprise End User Computing (EUC) and workplace technology environments. This role will provide hands-on engineering and operational support across Windows and macOS environments while helping lead and coordinate an offshore support team.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience with endpoint management, troubleshooting, automation, vulnerability remediation, and hybrid infrastructure. This individual should be comfortable working independently, collaborating across IT teams and vendors, and communicating directly with business and technology leadership.

Experience of the Right Candidate:
  • Strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise Windows and macOS environments, including Mac and PC troubleshooting.
  • Experience with endpoint management technologies such as Jamf and SCCM, along with Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across endpoint hardware, operating systems, networking, Wi-Fi, and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Strong networking and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex endpoint and connectivity issues.
  • Experience supporting patching, vulnerability remediation, equipment refreshes, migrations, and change management activities.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership and coordinate offshore teams, vendors, and other support resources.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset toward automation, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities of the Right Candidate:
  • Engineer, support, and troubleshoot enterprise Windows and macOS endpoint environments using Jamf, SCCM, and related technologies.
  • Lead and support endpoint refreshes, migrations, vulnerability remediation, patching, and other EUC operational initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, networking, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues.
  • Provide day-to-day technical leadership and coordination for an offshore support team and external vendors.
  • Support Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and broader hybrid infrastructure operations.
  • Identify automation and process improvement opportunities while maintaining documentation, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Partner with IT leadership and business stakeholders to communicate technical issues, risks, and project progress.
