Job summary

Fireside in the Northwest is seeking a full-time showroom associate to greet customers, share product knowledge, and assist with quotes, orders and displays. You will support senior staff and contribute to a positive in-store experience for customers seeking fireplaces, garage doors and related outdoor products.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organizational skills, and a professional, courteous approach as part of a growing company with over 30 years of experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service or retail experience.
• Organizational, time management and customer service skills.
• Regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in and scheduled showroom customers by identifying needs and guiding product selection.
• Provide customers accurate product knowledge, including features, benefits, pricing, and availability.
• Support senior sales staff with quotes, follow-ups, and customer communications.
• Support lead generation efforts through outbound calls, email follow-up, and customer engagement.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with order entry, quote preparation, and ensuring completeness of sales documentation.
• Assists in maintaining showroom appearance, product displays, samples, and sales materials.
• Provide administrative support for showroom and sales rep needs.

Wage Scale

$20.00 - $28.00 per hour + possibility of commission

Benefits

• Full-time Regular Employees (and their families) can enroll in medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, and 401K. Employees will also accrue 80 hours of paid vacation per year for the first 9 years and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
