Job summary

EnerSys Advanced Systems (EAS) is seeking a Jr Quality Inspector to perform acceptance inspections of raw material, components, tooling, fixtures, and assemblies in line with documented plans. The role ensures compliance with the Quality Management System and supports source inspection and FAI documentation.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and may have prior inspection experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as an inspector preferred.
• OpenDMIS CMM software preferred.
• GD&T certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections in accordance with documented inspection plans or instructions
• Record inspection results clearly and legibly
• Conduct mechanical measurements using micrometers, calipers, height gages, drop gages, optical comparators, and CMM equipment
• Perform visual inspections using a microscope
• Identify, segregate, and report discovered non-conformances
• Prepare final source inspection documentation
• Prepare First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation
• Maintain a neat, organized, and compliant workspace

This position is responsible to adhere to and promote the company documented Quality Management System procedures and policies.
