QA Analyst

Remote – Candidate must work PST Hours

1 year contract with possibility of extention

Overview:

We’re seeking a QA Analyst with 1–3 years of manual testing experience for a long-term contract opportunity supporting a QA team within the enterprise-level Telecommunications industry. This is a fully remote position, but candidates must be able to work Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow within a supportive QA team.

What You’ll Do:

• Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to test planning discussions
• Document and execute test cases based on functional requirements and user stories
• Log, track, and retest defects using issue tracking tools
• Perform regression, functional, and exploratory testing
• Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and project managers to ensure quality deliverables
• Take clear notes during meetings and communicate updates to the QA team
• Follow established QA processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

What We’re Looking For:

• 1–3 years of manual QA experience, preferably in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect tracking
• Familiarity with QA methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
• Located in the U.S. and available to work full PST business hours

Nice to Have:

• Experience with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or similar
• Familiarity with JIRA or other issue tracking systems
• Exposure to API or database testing (manual)
