Job description

This position is an excellent entry-level position in the field of quality assurance with the opportunity for growth and advancement. This person will be responsible for testing and certifying functional elements of a suite of enterprise applications serving the company products.

Requirements:

• Candidates who recently obtained a Bachelor's in Computer Science OR Information Technology.
• Good energy and willingness to learn Quality Assurance Process/Testing.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow process documents.
• Fast learners and ability to work well in groups or independently.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and executing tests on websites and web-based products.
• Developing and executing automated test scripts.
• Reproducing customer-reported issues.
• Verification of patches and bug fixes.
• Identifying issues and generating issue reports.
• Interfacing closely with project managers, programmers, and QA engineers.

Required Education and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 0 to 1 year of experience. This is an entry-level position!
• Experience with balancing reports and the use of Excel spreadsheets.
• Strong documentation and communication skills within a team environment.
• Knowledgeable about popular web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.).
• Familiarity with major operating systems (Windows, Mac OSX, Linux, Unix).
