Job Summary: The Junior Database Administrator will assist in the design, implementation, maintenance, and performance of database systems. Working under the guidance of senior DBAs, the Junior DBA will be responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of databases within the organization.

Responsibilities:

Database Maintenance:

  • Assist in database installation, configuration, and upgrading.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups, restores, and patch installations.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and maintain database security protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
  • Investigate and resolve database-related incidents and problems.
  • Collaborate with the IT support team to troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting database systems.

  • Contribute to the design and development of database schemas and structures.
  • Assist in the creation and modification of database objects.

Documentation:
