Senior Power BI Engineer – Enterprise AI

Location: Hybrid in Plano, TX

Summary

We’re seeking a Senior Power BI Engineer with enterprise reporting experience to support our Business Support team. In this role, you will design and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that consolidate program schedules, milestones, test progress, and product test results into a leadership-ready view. You will partner with Product Owners and cross‑functional stakeholders to validate data accuracy, close reporting gaps, and deliver actionable insights that improve decision‑making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong hands‑on experience building Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, and visualizations for enterprise‑level reporting
• Experience using Jira (including JQL) for reporting, defect tracking, burndown, and test result reporting
• Ability to select effective chart types, dashboard layouts, and visualization strategies for both executive and working audiences
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with Product Owners, technical teams, test leads, and leadership
• Ability to create and maintain information using Confluence
• Working knowledge of enterprise tools such as SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that consolidate multiple schedules, program milestones, test progress, and product test results into a single, leadership‑ready view
• Partner with Product Owners and cross‑functional stakeholders to validate data accuracy and ensure dashboards reflect current program status
• Use Jira/JQL, Confluence, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and other enterprise tools to extract, organize, analyze, and communicate reporting data
• Build Confluence pages to clearly communicate program and reporting information
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, inconsistencies, and reporting misalignment; collaborate to resolve root causes
• Work independently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining strong communication and collaboration across teams
