Job summary

Joyville, Inc. is seeking interns for the Spring 2027 program in Dallas, TX. The program offers a 10-week, part-time internship at $16/hour, with a 30-hour weekly commitment including one weekend day.

Interns will rotate through Buying, Marketing, and a final Leadership Capsule project across three focus areas. Our brands Favor the Kind, ROAM Fine Goods, and Earnest John provide hands-on experience in retail, marketing, and leadership for driven students.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student or recent graduate pursuing retail, marketing, or business leadership.
• Willingness to commit to 30 hours/week, including one weekend day.
• Strong interest in buying, marketing, and leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Rotation 1 (Buying Focus): assist with seasonal trend decks, analyze sell-through data, help with vendor research and SKU management.
• Rotation 2 (Marketing Focus): support social content creation, branding, website merchandising, and campaign planning.
• Rotation 3 (Final Project + Leadership Capsule): choose an area to capstone, present project, participate in leadership framework sessions.

Our12-week internship program is designed to give sharp, driven students real-world experience in the world of retail, marketing, and small business leadership.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Duration: 10 Weeks

Pay: $16/hour

Location: Dallas, TX

Commitment: 30 hours/week (including 1 weekend day a week)

Interns will rotate through three focus areas, building a solid foundation in customer experience, marketing, buying, and leadership.

Rotation 1: Buying Focus

• Assist with building seasonal trend decks
• Analyze sell-through data and contribute to buying strategies
• Participate in vendor research and product selection
• Help manage SKUs, inventory, and BTB (Bridge-to-Buyers) program

Rotation 2: Marketing Focus

• Support content creation for social media and email
• Learn branding and visual storytelling
• Collaborate on website merchandising and campaign strategy
• Contribute ideas for promos, product launches, and community engagement

Rotation 3: Final Project + Leadership Capsule

• Choose a department focus for your capstone project
• Present a final project that showcases your growth and skills
• Participate in a leadership capsule with:
• Goal-setting frameworks
• Time management tools
• Culture-building strategies
