Job summary

Earnest John Honest Goods seeks a Store + Brand Manager to lead our Dallas store with a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset. You will manage selling, visuals, customer relationships, and local partnerships, with support from Favor the Kind and Joyville HQ.

This builder role requires wearing many hats and shaping where the brand goes next, creating an inspiring in-store experience aligned with sustainability and thoughtful curation.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Earnest John Honest Goods was created with a simple purpose: to better the Earth through better everyday products. We aim to curate plastic-free, sustainable, and thoughtfully made goods that help reduce waste and keep unnecessary junk out of landfills — making sustainable living feel easy, approachable, and beautiful.

Earnest John is in its start-up phase with huge upside. We are fine-tuning the concept now with plans to expand, and we're looking for a Store + Brand Manager to lead our Dallas store while helping shape what Earnest John becomes.

You will run Earnest John like it's your own small business — a one-person show with your hand in selling, visual, customer relationships, and marketing, with a plethora of support from the Favor the Kind team and Joyville HQ.

This is a builder's role. You'll wear more hats than a typical store manager, and you'll have a real hand in where the brand goes next. If that excites you, this is a fun gig.

You are the face of Earnest John and set the tone for every customer interaction.

CREATE CUSTOMERS FOR LIFE

• Build genuine relationships and make customers feel at home
• Lead and grow our VIP program through clienteling and thoughtful follow-up
• Create meaningful reasons for customers to return

BE THE BRIDGE TO HQ + MARKETING

The store is where the brand comes to life. You help carry it beyond the four walls.

• Share customer feedback, product requests, and ideas with our Buying team
• Maintain and grow the Refillery Program
• Capture authentic, on-brand content for Instagram and Facebook
• Support events, pop-ups, launches, and local partnerships

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous retail leadership or management experience
• Highly organized, naturally proactive, and doesn't need to be told what's next
• A strong eye for visual merchandising
• Loves selling and genuinely enjoys people

PERKS + BENEFITS

• Compensation: $50,000–$55,000 annually, depending on experience and leadership level
• Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday | 9:30 AM–6:00 PM | Every Sunday off
