Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Activities Assistant to lead daily activities and enrichment programs for residents. You will encourage participation, help plan calendars and newsletters, and escort residents to activities with a focus on safety and engagement.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead small groups. A valid driver’s license is required where applicable, and prior senior living experience is preferred.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead small group activities.
• Valid driver’s license where applicable.
• Senior living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily activities, events, and enrichment programs.
• Encourage and support resident participation.
• Help prepare activity calendars and newsletters.
• Escort residents to and from programs as needed.
• Maintain organized activity spaces and supplies.
• Support volunteer engagement and community partnerships.
• Document participation per regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate changes appropriately.
