Gillig in Livermore, CA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician (Journeyperson Maintenance Mechanic) for day shift. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical systems, preventive maintenance, fabrications, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, and heavy equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Candidates should read mechanical/electrical diagrams, work with minimal supervision, follow safety policies, and have own tools. Standard shift times: 5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Strong electrical maintenance skills including 3‑phase motors and VFDs, with problem solving ability.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and repair processing/manufacturing equipment (Air Compressors, Conveyors, Electric Motors).
• Read and interpret mechanical/electrical diagrams and manuals.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, sensors, and automation components.
• Follow safety policies and work with minimal supervision.
