Job summary

GILLIG in Livermore, CA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician (Journeyperson) to maintain manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, read diagrams, and perform preventive maintenance on PLCs, VFDs, conveyors and motors. The role requires reading technical repair manuals and working with safety protocols. Shift options: 1st shift 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

at $45.26/hour; 2nd shift 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. at $46.26/hour.

Qualifications

3–5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
Strong ability in electrical maintenance, including 3-phase motors, variable frequency drives, controls, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical diagrams and repair manuals.
Proficient with power tools.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair processing/manufacturing equipment (Air Compressors, Conveyors, Electric Motors).
Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
Read mechanical and electrical prints, diagrams, and manuals.
Promote safety and efficiency in the plant environment.
Collaborate with coworkers to ensure productivity and safety.
