Comfort Systems USA Mid South, Inc. is looking for a skilled Journeyman Welder to join our team in Birmingham, AL. The role involves high-quality welding and fabrication of piping systems for commercial and industrial projects. You will work independently or with a crew to ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of commercial or industrial welding experience.
• Ability to pass required weld tests (X-ray quality preferred).
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform SMAW, GTAW (TIG), and GMAW welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping.
• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding procedures.
• Inspect welds to ensure compliance with codes and project specifications.
