This role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to procedures as you read drawings and welding symbols, maintain tools, and collaborate with journeymen and supervisors.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of welding or related trade experience.
• Basic understanding of welding techniques and equipment.
• Ability to read basic drawings and welding symbols.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic welding tasks using SMAW, GTAW (TIG), or GMAW processes.
• Prepare materials for welding including cutting, grinding, and fitting components.
• Read and interpret basic drawings and welding symbols.
• Support fabrication and installation of piping systems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
