Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship or five years of continuous experience in line construction.
• Able to work independently and follow safety guidelines.
• May hold certifications for equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Installs and repairs structures and equipment for electrical systems.
• Operates aerial lift equipment and performs maintenance work.
• Directs and trains apprentice linemen.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Experience in electrical power systems

Class 'B' commercial driver's license

Education

Completion of a 42-month apprenticeship or five years of maintenance experience
