Job summary

Ascendant Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker in Wisconsin to assemble tooling and supervise the tooling production process. You will participate in Pre-Build meetings, set up and operate stamping tools, and ensure components meet exact specifications.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of progressive tooling experience (metal stamping preferred), a state apprenticeship or Journeyman Card in Tool & Die, and strong math and reading drawings skills to train apprentices and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus Tool & Die apprenticeship or 6 years as a Tool & Die Maker.
• 3–5 years building progressive tooling; metal stamping preferred.
• Journeyman Card in Tool & Die.
• Ability to read technical drawings and perform advanced math.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Pre-Build meetings to plan efficient manufacturing processes.
• Assemble tooling and verify machined components meet specifications.
• Set up and operate tools to manufacture components.
• Train and mentor apprentices.
• Assemble components into completed tooling.
