Job summary

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level experience in stamping and forming.
• 5 years' experience with stamping and Injection Molding die repair.
• Experience with aluminum stamping and machining is a plus.
• Ability to communicate technical status to engineering or operations.
• Experience with SolidWorks or NX is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts.
• Study blueprints, sketches, and models to repair or fabricate tools and dies.
• Set up and operate conventional or CNC machine shop equipment.
• Inspect tooling for production readiness.
• Conduct tryouts with completed tools or dies.
• Record work and repair history in electronic maintenance system.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement projects.
