Job summary

Wisconsin Stamping & Manufacturing is seeking a Tool & Die Apprentice to learn building, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting stamping dies, machine fixtures, and tooling. Working with seasoned Tool & Die Makers, you will gain hands‑on experience in machining and die maintenance through a supported apprenticeship program.

You will operate manual and CNC tools, read blueprints, and develop tooling skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in manufacturing or machining is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to learn and complete apprenticeship coursework.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot stamping dies.
• Assist Tool & Die Makers with maintenance.
• Set up and operate manual and CNC tools.
• Read blueprints and specifications.
• Use precision measuring equipment.
• Perform basic machining, grinding, fitting, polishing.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues to minimize downtime.
• Attend apprenticeship classes and maintain progress.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
