Job summary

Wisconsin Stamping & Manufacturing is seeking a Tool & Die Apprentice to learn building, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting stamping dies, tooling, and fixtures. You will work alongside experienced Tool & Die Makers and gain hands-on skills in machining, tooling, and die maintenance, with company support for related schooling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical education a plus.
• Interest in learning to build, repair, and maintain stamping tooling.
• Willingness to participate in an apprenticeship program and related schooling.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot stamping dies.
• Assist die makers with preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools.
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings; use precision measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Attend apprenticeship classes and maintain satisfactory progress.
