Castle Subaru is hiring a Journeyman Technician at Genesis of Downers Grove in Illinois. The role includes diagnosing and repairing vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. You should have at least 2 years of Genesis experience and possess an ASE Certification.

The compensation ranges from $100k to $220k per year, depending on performance and experience, and additional union benefits include health care and a pension plan.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

As a Journeyman Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning. You'll work to identify any automotive issues to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. You will test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• 2 years or more of Genesis experience as a certified, master, or journeyman technician
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• ASE Certification required with A-level qualifications
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
• Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
• Teamwork mentality and ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Journeyman Tech union compensation: $100k-$220k per year
