Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking Journeyman Technicians to join a busy shop servicing over 100 cars daily at Napleton's Valley Hyundai. You will diagnose and repair vehicles to dealer and factory standards, building customer loyalty through trust and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician.
• Self-starter with a process-driven attitude.
• Willingness to undergo a background check as required by law.
• 18+ years of age to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications (brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension/alignments, AC, and computer systems).
• Explain diagnosis and needed repairs to customers and staff.
• Continuously update technical skills through formal training.
• Inform store management of repair problems as they occur.
• Keep the service bay organized and neat.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician required.
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
