Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Journeyman Technician for Arlington Heights CDJR. This role involves diagnosing and repairing vehicles per dealer and factory standards, building customer trust through reliable service and expert repairs.

We offer a pay range at $46.75 per flat rate hour with a 36-hour guarantee, monthly bonuses, tool reimbursements, paid training and manufacturer certifications, flexible scheduling, comprehensive benefits, and paid vacation and sick leave.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician.
• Self-starter who is process-driven.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
