Napleton's Arlington Heights CDJR is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to repair and maintain vehicles to dealer and factory standards. The role focuses on diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and communicating with parts and service staff to keep production moving.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and participate in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized work area.

Located at Napleton's Arlington Heights CDJR, the Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
