Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Journeyman Technician for our Elmhurst location. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing vehicles to factory standards, while building customer trust through accurate diagnoses and quality repairs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Journeyman Technician.
• Self-starter with a process-driven approach.
• Willing to undergo a background check as required by law.
• 18+ years of age or older to meet driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications including brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition and electrical systems.
• Communicate technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and staff as required.
• Continuously update technical skills through formal training sessions.
• Keep management informed of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.
