Job summary

Torch Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer (Journeyman) with test automation experience to support MilPDS and HRSD testing. You will apply software engineering to test automation, tool engineering, and quality verification across DoD systems.

The ideal candidate has coding skills in Java, VBScript, or C++, and hands-on experience with UiPath or OpenText UFT One, Jira for defect tracking, and RMF/cybersecurity practices. On-site role in Huntsville, AL with security clearance required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's or master's degree with 3+ years in the DoW domain.
• OR 15 years of related experience with DoW-specific certs.
• Proficient in Java, VBScript, or C++ and core software concepts.
• Experience with automated test suites using UiPath or OpenText UFT One.
• Knowledge of QA, manual testing, test procedures, and Jira.
• Ability to obtain DoW Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Apply Agile software engineering to test automation and tool engineering.
• Design and perform system-level tests for MilPDS and HRSD.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.
• Provide integration with CI/CD and training support.
• Support risk management activities per AF RMF.
