Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welds with GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SAW or SMAW processes.
• Joins pipes to tanks and handles gas/oxygen valves.
• Preheats pieces and prepares welds as required.
• Performs fit-up, filler metal application, and weld quality checks.
• Cleans welds and surfaces; removes slag and spatter.
• Climbs ladders or scaffolds to access weld locations.
• Chooses weld location based on material type, thickness, and temp.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
