Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years full time Journeyman experience in the commercial Steamfitter trade.
• Must possess a current Steamfitter license in the City of Omaha and universal CFC license.
• If hired, candidates without a Steamfitter license must obtain one within six months.
• Experience with central A/C systems, heat pumps, and energy management systems.

Responsibilities

• Purchases materials as required.
• Repair or replace piping of various materials and sizes.
• Repair circulating pumps, steam traps, heat pumps, and related components.
• Diagnose and adjust defective sub-assemblies and control panels.
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems, boilers, and energy management interfaces.
• Operate scaffolding and aerial lifts; participate in preventative maintenance.
• Enter time, materials, and notes into a computerized work order system.
• Maintain tools and parts; be available for on-call rotation.
